The lecture provides an in-depth look at the negotiating process and introduces techniques to help the practitioner identify what his or her position should be in any negotiation and how to maximize that position given varying environmental and psychological conditions. The lecture is particularly effective in the techniques it presents to help the practitioner size up and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the negotiating opponent.
